Confirm the wall can support the mount
Choose the correct wall mount type
Find the wall studs
Mark the mounting height and position
Hold the wall plate against the wall
Level the wall plate
Drill pilot holes into the studs
Attach the wall plate with lag bolts
Attach the mounting brackets to the TV
Lift the TV onto the wall plate
Secure the TV according to the mount instructions
Check that the TV is level
Tighten all hardware
Connect cables and power
Test the TV for stability
