Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C)
Pat the chicken thigh dry with paper towels
Rub with oil
Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices
Place on a baking sheet or in a baking dish
Bake skin-side up if using skin-on thighs
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
Remove from the oven
Rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving
