How to Operate a Circular Saw?

Read the saw’s manual before use

Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate gloves

Inspect the blade, guard, cord, battery, and shoe before starting

Use the correct blade for the material

Make sure the blade is sharp and properly installed

Unplug the saw or remove the battery before changing the blade

Secure the workpiece with clamps or a stable surface

Mark the cut line clearly

Set the blade depth slightly deeper than the material thickness

Set the bevel angle if needed

Keep the blade guard working freely

Hold the saw with both hands

Stand to the side of the blade path

Start the saw before the blade contacts the material

Let the blade reach full speed before cutting

Guide the saw along the cut line steadily

Keep the base plate flat on the material

Apply steady pressure without forcing the saw

Keep hands away from the blade path

Watch for kickback and avoid twisting the saw

Support both sides of the cut to prevent binding

Release the trigger only after finishing the cut

Wait for the blade to stop completely before setting the saw down

Disconnect power before adjusting, cleaning, or storing the saw

Keep the saw clean and store it safely after use
