Open the lighter case
Remove the inner insert from the metal case
Turn the insert upside down
Lift the felt pad at the bottom
Slowly add Zippo lighter fluid to the packing material
Stop when the packing material is saturated but not dripping
Wipe off any excess fluid
Reinsert the insert into the case
Wait a few seconds before lighting
Close the lighter when not in use
