Open the Zippo lighter case
Remove the insert from the outer case
Turn the insert upside down
Lift the felt pad on the bottom
Saturate the cotton packing with Zippo lighter fluid
Stop adding fluid when the packing is wet but not dripping
Wipe off any excess fluid
Reinsert the insert into the case
Close the lighter
Wait a few seconds before lighting
