Place the lens on your fingertip and look at its side profile
If the edges flare outward like a saucer, it is likely inside out
If the edges form a smooth bowl shape, it is likely right side out
Check the lens shape from the side before putting it in your eye
If the lens feels uncomfortable or blurry after insertion, remove it and check again
If the lens looks like a perfect half-sphere, it is likely correct
If the lens looks more like a shallow cup with a wide rim, it is likely inside out
