Start with the knee slightly bent and the leg relaxed
Hold the ACE bandage with the loose end on the inside of the knee
Begin wrapping below the knee, about 2 to 3 inches under the kneecap
Wrap upward in a diagonal spiral around the knee
Overlap each layer by about half the width of the bandage
Keep the wrap snug but not tight
Cover the kneecap area evenly
Continue wrapping above the knee, about 2 to 3 inches past the kneecap
Secure the end with the bandage clips or fasteners
Check for numbness, tingling, swelling, or color change in the foot
Loosen and rewrap if the bandage feels too tight
Remove the wrap if pain increases or circulation seems affected
