Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon if desired
Place the box in the center of the wrapping paper
Pull one side of the paper over the box
Pull the opposite side over and overlap the edges
Tape the seam securely
Fold in the paper at each end to create neat triangular flaps
Fold the top and bottom flaps inward
Tape the flaps flat against the box
Repeat on the other end
Trim any excess paper if needed
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
