Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon or a gift tag
Place the gift in the center of the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it can cover the gift with a little overlap
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Pull the opposite side over and tape the seam closed
Fold in the paper at both ends to make neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps inward
Tape each end securely
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
