Deal each player 7 cards
Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile
Flip the top card of the draw pile to start the discard pile
On your turn, play one card that matches the top discard card by color, number, or symbol
If you cannot play, draw one card
If the drawn card can be played, you may play it immediately
If not, your turn ends
Some cards have special effects that change the next player’s turn
Skip cards make the next player lose a turn
Reverse cards change the direction of play
Draw cards make the next player take extra cards and usually lose a turn
Wild cards can be played on any card and let you choose the next color
Continue playing until one player has no cards left
That player wins the game
