How To Replace Bathroom Faucet?

Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink

Open the faucet to release any remaining water pressure

Place a bucket or towel under the sink to catch drips

Disconnect the supply lines from the faucet

Remove the drain stopper rod if it blocks access

Loosen and remove the mounting nuts or brackets securing the faucet

Lift the old faucet out of the sink or countertop

Clean the sink surface and remove old putty or residue

Install the new faucet gasket or apply plumber’s putty if required

Insert the new faucet into the mounting holes

Secure the faucet from underneath with the provided nuts or brackets

Reconnect the water supply lines to the new faucet

Reattach any drain stopper components if removed

Turn the water supply valves back on slowly

Check for leaks at all connections

Tighten fittings if needed

Run the faucet for a minute to flush out debris

Confirm hot and cold water flow and proper operation
