How To Roast Broccoli?

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)

Cut broccoli into florets and slice thick stems into bite-size pieces

Pat broccoli dry

Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and black pepper

Optional: add garlic powder, red pepper flakes, or lemon zest

Spread broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet

Roast 18–25 minutes, flipping or stirring halfway through

Roast until edges are browned and stems are tender

Optional: toss with a squeeze of lemon juice after roasting

Optional: finish with grated Parmesan or a drizzle of balsamic glaze
