Start with a square sheet of paper

Unfold again
Fold the paper in half horizontally
Unfold and fold it in half vertically
Unfold to create crease lines
Bring the side corners together to form a smaller square base
Flatten the square base neatly
Fold the top layer’s side edges toward the center line
Repeat on the other side
Unfold the last folds
Open the top flap and press it down into a petal shape
Repeat the same step on all sides
Fold the outer edges of each petal slightly outward
Shape the petals by curling or bending the tips
Separate and adjust the layers to form the flower
Repeat with multiple paper pieces if you want a fuller flower
Attach the flower pieces together if needed
Add a paper circle to the center if desired
