How to Make Cod Fillets?

Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels

Check for and remove any bones

Season with salt and pepper

Add optional spices or herbs if desired

Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat

Place cod fillets in the pan

Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on the first side

Flip carefully

Cook for 2 to 4 minutes on the other side

Cook until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork

Remove from heat

Serve immediately
