Open the door fully
Support the door with a wedge or helper
Remove the hinge pin with a hammer and nail set or screwdriver
Lift the door off the hinges
If removing the hinge from the frame, unscrew the hinge leaves
Keep the screws and hardware together
Repeat for each hinge
Store the door safely after removal
