Gently file the top coat to break the seal
Soak a cotton ball in acetone
Place the cotton ball on the nail
Wrap the nail with aluminum foil or use a nail clip
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check if the polish lifts
Gently push off softened gel with a cuticle pusher
Rewrap and soak again if needed
Lightly buff any remaining residue
Wash hands thoroughly
Apply cuticle oil and hand lotion
