Put on gloves
Remove excess water if the bowl is too full
Use a flange plunger if available
Place the plunger over the drain opening
Ensure a tight seal
Push down gently first
Pump up and down firmly several times
Maintain the seal while plunging
Repeat until the water drains
Flush to check if the clog is cleared
Repeat plunging if needed
Clean and disinfect the plunger and area
