Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield
Locate the release tab or locking clip on the Rain-X blade adapter
Press or lift the release tab to unlock the blade
Slide the blade downward or away from the wiper arm, depending on the adapter style
If needed, rotate the blade slightly to free it from the hook
Remove the blade from the arm
Lower the wiper arm carefully back onto the windshield or rest position
