Use a standard 52-card deck
Deal all cards evenly to all players
Players keep their cards hidden
Choose a player to start
The first player places one or more cards face down in the center
The first player says the rank of the cards played, starting with Aces and moving upward
Play continues clockwise
On your turn, place one or more cards face down and announce the next rank in order
You may lie about the cards you played
Other players may call “BS” if they think you lied
If no one calls BS, the next player takes their turn
If BS is called, reveal the played cards
If the player lied, they pick up the whole pile
If the player told the truth, the caller picks up the whole pile
After a pile is picked up, the next player starts a new round
The rank sequence usually goes Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, then repeats
A player wins by getting rid of all their cards first
If a player runs out of cards, they are out unless your group uses a different rule
