Identify male flowers and female flowers
Pick a freshly opened male flower
Remove the petals to expose the pollen-covered stamen
Gently touch the stamen to the center of a female flower
Or use a small paintbrush or cotton swab to transfer pollen
Pollinate early in the morning for best results
Repeat with multiple female flowers if needed
Check for fruit development over the next few days
