Symptoms after eating gluten, such as bloating, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting

Iron-deficiency anemia or other nutrient deficiencies

Frequent mouth ulcers

Skin rash with itchy blisters, especially on elbows, knees, buttocks, or scalp

Infertility or recurrent miscarriage

Family history of celiac disease
