Cut the leader line to the desired length
Thread the line through the hook eye or lure eye
Wrap the tag end around the standing line several times
Pass the tag end back through the loop near the eye
Moisten the knot
Pull both ends to tighten the knot
Trim the excess tag end
Check the knot for security before use
