Slide the bullet weight onto the main line, pointed end first
Add a bead if desired
Tie on an offset worm hook
Insert the hook point into the bait’s nose about 1/4 inch
Bring the point out the bottom and slide the bait up to the hook eye
Rotate the hook so the point faces the bait
Measure where the hook point should exit the bait body
Push the hook point straight through that spot
Skin-hook the point just under the bait’s surface
Make sure the bait lies straight on the hook
Slide the weight down to the hook eye or leave it pegged if needed
Cast and retrieve with pauses, hops, or slow dragging
