Cut a healthy vine below a node
Make sure the cutting has at least one node and one or two leaves
Remove any leaf that would sit in water or soil
Place the cutting in water or moist soil
Keep the node submerged or buried, not the leaves
Put it in bright, indirect light
Change the water every few days if rooting in water
Keep soil lightly moist if rooting in soil
Wait for roots to grow several inches long
Transfer water-rooted cuttings to soil when roots are established
Plant several cuttings together for a fuller pot
Trim the mother plant to encourage new growth
