Use a clean vase
Fill the vase with fresh, cool water
Add flower food if provided
Trim stems at an angle
Remove leaves below the waterline
Recut stems every 1 to 2 days
Change the water every 1 to 2 days
Wash the vase before refilling
Keep flowers out of direct sunlight
Keep flowers away from heat sources
Keep flowers away from drafts
Keep flowers away from ripening fruit
Remove wilted flowers promptly
Mist delicate flowers lightly if needed
Refrigerate overnight if possible
