Cut a healthy 4–6 inch stem from the ivy plant
Choose a stem with several leaves and at least one node
Remove the lower leaves, leaving 2–4 leaves at the top
Place the cutting in water or moist potting mix
Keep at least one node submerged or buried
Put the cutting in bright, indirect light
Keep the water fresh or the soil evenly moist
Wait for roots to develop
Transfer the cutting to a pot once roots are well formed
Keep the new plant in indirect light and lightly watered
