Trim off the root base and separate the mushroom clusters
Rinse quickly under cold water and pat dry
Add to soups or hot pot during the last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking
Stir-fry over medium-high heat with oil, garlic, and seasonings for 2 to 3 minutes
Sauté with butter or soy sauce until just tender
Grill or pan-sear briefly until lightly browned
Use in ramen, miso soup, stir-fries, or noodle dishes
Avoid overcooking to keep the texture crisp
Serve immediately after cooking
