Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F
Wash and dry the potatoes
Prick each potato several times with a fork
Rub the potatoes with a little oil
Sprinkle with salt
Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking tray
Bake for 50 to 70 minutes, depending on size
Turn once halfway through, if desired
Check they are done by inserting a knife or skewer; it should go in easily
Remove from the oven
Cut open and fluff the inside with a fork
Add your desired toppings
