Cut a section with at least one or more nodes
Use a sharp, clean tool
Separate a rhizome division with roots attached
Plant the division in well-draining soil
Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged
Place the plant in partial shade or suitable light
Maintain warm temperatures
Propagate from cuttings if the species allows
Use rooting hormone on cut ends if desired
Cover cuttings lightly with soil or growing medium
Wait for new shoots and root growth
Transplant once the new plant is established
