Wash and scrub the potatoes
Pat the potatoes dry
Pierce each potato several times with a fork
Rub the potatoes with a little oil
Sprinkle salt over the potatoes
Preheat the oven toaster to 200°C to 220°C
Place the potatoes on the toaster tray
Bake for 45 to 60 minutes
Turn the potatoes halfway through cooking
Check doneness by inserting a fork or knife
Remove when the skin is crisp and the inside is soft
Let the potatoes cool for a few minutes
Cut open and serve with desired toppings
