Overlap the braid and monofilament with several inches of tag end
Tie a double uni knot by wrapping the braid around the mono 6 to 8 times
Pass the braid tag end back through its loop and tighten lightly
Wrap the mono around the braid 4 to 6 times
Pass the mono tag end back through its loop and tighten lightly
Lubricate the knot with saliva or water
Pull both main lines slowly to cinch the knot together
Trim both tag ends close to the knot
Test the knot with a firm pull before casting
