Find the center of one lug hole
Measure to the farthest edge of the lug hole directly across from it
Use the correct method for the bolt pattern type
For 5-lug wheels, measure from the center of one lug hole to the outside edge of the hole two positions away
Record the result in millimeters or inches
Compare the measurement to a bolt pattern chart
Common 5-lug patterns include 5×4.5, 5×5, 5×5.5, and 5×120
Verify the pattern on the vehicle hub or wheel before purchasing replacements
